Many people have had the benefit of having mentors speak into their lives when they were young. These mentors portrayed a positive image and exhibited personal character worth modeling. They set a great example for the young people they had the pleasure of mentoring. Operation Reach Back believes every young person should be blessed with the opportunity to have a positive role model.
At its inception, Operation Reach Back (ORB) was the convergence of caring, concerned, and committed Christian men who have a heart for assisting in improving the quality of life of the next generation of young men. While the initial goals were set to cater to the needs of young men, God had greater plans for the organization

ORB's mission is to cultivate the minds of the next generation of young leaders through mentorship by emphasizing the five core principles: relationship, responsibility, respect, reach, and a return. ORB desires to not only to have a lasting impression because impressions fade; we desire to have an IMPACT that leads to character transformation and results in the empowerment of the next generation of leaders.
